We’re gearing up for our next film – working title Cigarette – and we’re looking for locations.
The movie will be shot over three days (plus a day or two setting up beforehand). Nearly all the action takes place indoors, so we’re looking for:
* A kitchen – preferably fairly large, and ideally with a breakfast bar or island unit (although that’s optional).
* A living room with sofa, TV and fireplace. Ideally, it would be an open fireplace, but a woodburner would be okay.
* A hallway with a front door and stairs leading upstairs. We’d also need to shoot some shots outside the house, showing the front door.
* A bedroom.
These don’t all have to be in the same house, but it makes life easier the more of them we can find in the same place.
We’re based in the area where the west Orne borders the southern Manche, eastern Ille-et-Vilaine and northern Mayenne, so we’re looking for locations in that region.
Because of the disruption, and because we may need to leave one or two of these sets set-up overnight, we really need a property that isn’t occupied – a gite, holiday home or property for sale which is still furnished but not being lived in.
If you know of anyone who might be able to help us, even if they might have only some of the rooms we’re looking for, please do get in touch.
The more we can spread the word, the more chance we’ve got of finding what we need, so please do pass this on to your friends.
We’ll cover any costs, such as electricity, and can promise a credit in the movie and a big thank you!
