Today is Friday and we start filming on Monday. I woke up at 6am this morning, suddenly remembering something I needed to add to the packing list for the shoot. (Folding chairs, if you’re interested…)
Outside the sky was a soft velvet blue, with the promise of sunshine, but by 8am it was drizzling. But now, three hours later it’s glorious sunshine. Clear cut shadows are stretched out across our lawn, which reminds me that Steve said that bright sunlight can make filming difficult for a number of reasons, one of which is, if the shadows change, you’ve got a continuity problem.
The forecast is mixed for Monday – ‘sunshine and showers’ it says, rather vaguely. I’m sure there must be a bit of kit for dealing with changeable weather… (apart from an umbrella I mean.)
